Milk prices are growing due to a low milk supply because of seasonal reduction and trade of dairy products oin the foreign market.

Thus, due to the info of the State Fiscal Service, Ukraine has exported to foreign market 109.2 ths tonns of milk products, which is 9% less than for the same period of 2015. In money terms it is 158 mln doll., which is 11% less than year  earlier. The fact of this export reduction can be explained by the low milk prices on the  global  stage, which formed in the first half of 2016.

Main expport products were condensed milk and cream — 51.9 ths.tonns (-12%). Sales of non-condensed milk and cream are at the level of 10.5 ths. tonns (19.3% more, than last year), dry whey — 23.9 ths. tonns (-10%), butter — 12.1 ths. tonns (-3%).
