Vets have attached nearly 10 tonnes of low-quality products
During last week the State Veterinary and Phytosanitary Service and Ukrainian Veterinary Police workers have inspected 332 enterprises that produce animal products. It was registered 213 violations and restricted the circulation of 9,366 kg of low-quality products. This was announced by Serhii Oksyuta, the Head of the Division of Veterinary Affairs of Ukraine.
Stable epizootic situation and food security measures are taken in Ukraine. To provide this mobile groups of the Ukrainian Veterinary Police and State Veterinary and Phytosanitary Service are working in the regions. They checked the work of 332 enterprises that produce animal products. In order to control the movement of animal origin products over the roads the workers of the Veterinary Police Units checked 75 vehicles.
During these inspections 213 violations have been recorded and 27 999 thousand UAH of fine sanctions have been put into the State Budget. Production at 17 enterprises was suspended.
Besides, it was limited the circulation of 9366 kg of animal products because its quality was not confirmed by the documents.
