Ukrainian import of milk to China grew by 3.1%, to 408 thousand tons
Import of dairy products to China in January-February 2017 grew by 3.1% compared with the same period last year to 407.95 thousand tons. In terms of value, there was recorded an increase of 20.5%, to $971.94 million.

New Zealand occupies a leading position on volumes of export of dairy products to China. In January — February there was delivered 249.71 thousand tons (+3.9%). Income from exports increased by 19.8% to $702.65 million. From the USA to China there was exported 47.01 thousand tons, which is 28% higher than in January-February 2016. Income from exports increased to $ 58.34 million (+85.7 percent).
From France to China during the reporting period there was imported 22.22 thousand tons of dairy products (+19.2%) for the total amount of $51.26 million (+45.5%), from Australia -— 18.21 tons (-1,2%), for $46,84 million (+7%).
In January-February the import of ice cream to China increased by 33.8% to 2.35 thousand tons. The value of imports reached $7.89 million (+24.9%). From France there was delivered 918.2 tons of ice cream for the total amount of $3.59 million. From Russia to China there was imported 19.5 tons of ice cream (-84,9%). Income from exports amounted to $67.6 thousand (-80.8%).
By the end of 2016 the import of dairy products to China reached 1.93 million tons, which in monetary terms amounted to $3.46 billion. From New Zealand there was delivered 766.61 thousand tons for the total amount of $1.89 billion.
