Ukraine did not fully used the quotas for export of dairy products in 2016
In 2016 Ukraine exported significantly less dairy products than it was allowed by the quota to the European Union.
According to UCAB in 2016 Ukraine made full use of duty-free quotas for deliveries to the EU for 11 groups of agricultural products, namely in the export of honey, sugar, cereals and flour, wheat and malt gluten, processed tomatoes, grape and apple juice, wheat, oats, corn, barley and poultry meat.
Ukraine was not able to fill quotas on export of dairy products completely. The Ukrainians used a quota for duty-free exports of butter by 46%, milk powder by 30%, processed products made from milk cream by 24,4%.
