The Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine introduced changes to the conditions of payment of grants for the preservation of cattle, according to which the maximum cattle age was increased from 11 to 15 months. This is stated in the resolution of the Cabinet №593 from June 25. Under the changes, now the maximum payment per head of young stock may be 1000 UAH, previously it could not exceed 750 UAH.

Earlier, the Cabinet in its decision from June 1 implemented  payment of grants to owners of cattle. The size of grant depends on the age of the animal and can be 250, 500 or 750 UAH per head. Totaly  for the current year 1 billion UAH was comitted from the budget to pay subsidies.
