State Food and Grain Corporation of Ukraine began receiving grain of 2013 harvest under the forward contracts
Since August PJSC «State Food and Grain Corporation of Ukraine» began the second stage of the 2013 forward program. It provides the grain delivery by farmers contracted in the spring and a final payment for it.
In general, State Food and Grain Corporation of Ukraine has signed forward contracts with farmers for the supply of 2013 grain harvest in the amount of about 1 million tons.
The Corporation has fully fulfilled its obligations at the first stage of the program . It has paid farmers 934.5 million UAH of advance payments.
Currently, farmers began to supply contracted grain. More than 150 certified elevators in 25 regions of Ukraine provide this process. As for corn, its supply will start in September.
Besides, State Food and Grain Corporation of Ukraine will start in the autumn the next forward program. It will buy 2014 winter grain crops in the amount of approximate 1,000,000 tons.
