Since the beginning of 2017/18 MY Ukraine exported 7.8 million tons of grain
From the beginning of 2017/18 MY as of September 13, 2017, Ukraine exported 7.77 million tons of grain, which is 1 thousand tons less than in the same period last year.
This is reported by the press service of the Ministry of Agrarian Policy and Food of Ukraine.
Ukraine exported 4.23 million tons of wheat, which is 329,000 tons less than in the same period in 2016.
Barley exports for the reporting period amounted to 2.35 million tonnes, which is 255,000 tonnes less than the same period last year.
The volume of corn export amounts to 1.17 million tons, which is 593 thousand tons more than in the same period of 2016/17 MY.
Let us remind, that the forecast for maize production in Ukraine in 2017/18 MY is reduced to 27.5 million tons (-1 million tons) compared with the August forecast (28.5 million tons).
