Sales of dairy products in Russia increased by 15%

 

According to Nielsen, from August 2014 to August 2015 sales of dairy products in Russia grew by 15%.

According to the analysts in some sectors the situation is favorable for local players. In particular western companies are losing their share in the category of pasteurized milk (sales increased during the period under consideration by 11% in volume terms). At the same time some local companies increased sales by 40-50%. Russian producers were and continue to take the leading positions in the category curd snacks. Within the last year they managed to increase volumes of sales by 40%.
