Average purchase price for second grade milk from the population decreased by 7% compared with the previous month and as of May 4 it is 2,128 UAH/t. Only last week the purchase price decreased by 1%.

The largest price decline compared with last month was observed in Lugansk region, where the milk from the population fell by 22% to 2,000 UAH/t. In Kharkiv region purchase price for milk from private households decreased by 20% to 2,000 UAH/t. The lowest purchase price as of May 4 was in Volyn — 1,800 UAH/t, and Ternopil region — 1,830 UAH/t.
