November 25, 2011 purchase prices for first quality milk from agricultural enterprises were 3,731 UAH/t. Within a month, prices increased by 2%, for the year prices went up by 3%. The minimum price was recorded in Volyn region (3,300 UAH/t), and maximum — in Chernivtsi region (4,200 UAH/t). The price for second quality milk from the population was 2,645 UAH/t. Compare with the last month it increased by 7%.

Wholesale prices for milk (fat content 2.5%) in Ukraine amounted to 5.66 UAH/kg. Compared with the same date last month, the price increased by 1%, and compared with the same date last year — 8%. The minimum price was 4.94 UAH/kg in Poltava region, and the maximum -6.65 UAH/kg in Lugansk.

Retail prices fell by 4% during the month and amounted to 7.22 UAH/l.
