This was reported by analyst of Association of Milk Producers of Ukraine (AVM) Yana Muzychenko.

Purchase prices for Extra Grade milk grew up the most. The average price for this grade added 0.09 UAH to 8.24 UAH/kg (including VAT). The highest prices were fixed in Sumy region (8.65 UAH/kg) and Kiev region (8.50 UAH/kg.).

The price for Higher Grade this week added 0.07 UAH to 7.95 UAH/kg. The maximum price for this Grade of milk was paid in Kharkiv region – 8.40 UAH/kg.

The average price for Grade I milk became higher by 0.02 UAH — 7.67 UAH/kg. The most common price range for this grade of milk was fixed between 7.70-7.92 UAH/kg. Also there are price proposals at 8.20 UAH/kg.

According to the latest data from the State Fiscal Service, for seven months of this year from exports of dairy products Ukraine has earned 69.3% more than the same period last year. The total income from the sales of dairy products amounted 140.8 million dollars.

Sales of butter grew up four times – 54.4 million dollars and the export of milk whey has doubled – 15.5 million dollars.
