Production of agricultural products in Ukraine grew by almost 14% during the year

 

The costs of agricultural production in Ukraine in 2016 grew by 13.5% in comparison with 2015.

This was announced by State statistics service. 

In particular, the total production costs of crop products grew by 10.6%, and livestock products — by 20.9%.

In the State statistics service they also reported that the costs of material and technical resources of industrial origin, used in agricultural production increased by 4.2% last year. In December compared to November, the costs of agricultural production increased by 2.3%. 

The costs of production of plant products in December increased by 2.4%, and of animal products — by 1.9%. 

Also farmers increased costs for material and technical resources of industrial origin by 1.8%. In the State statistics service they noted that the data are presented excluding the occupied territory of the Crimea and the zone of the antiterrorist operation. The costs of agricultural production in Ukraine in 2015 increased by 50.9% compared to 2014.
