Monitoring of milk prices in Ukraine — 14 April
Purchase prices for milk continue to show steadily increasing trend with minor fluctuations. It is reported by the analytical department of the Association of dairy producers.
According to the latest monitoring on 12 April, the average price for milk of extra quality was 6.34 UAH/kg, which is 3 kopecks higher than the previous week prices. The highest price for it, as the week before, was paid in Kirovograd and Kherson regions — 6.60 UAH/kg, and the lowest price was in Khmelnytsky — 5.50 UAH.
For higher grade milk processors paid 6.17 UAH/kg, and it is also 3 kopecks higher than the previous week prices. The maximum price for this quality was paid in Ivano-Frankivsk and Kharkiv regions — 6.50 UAH/kg. The lowest price was recorded in Luhansk region — 5.20 UAH.
Окрім того, середня ціна на молоко першого ґатунку за тиждень подешевшала. Кілограм такого молока тепер коштує 6,04 проти 6,10 грн фіксованих минулого тижня. Найвищу ціну за таке молоко платили на Тернопільщині — 6,50 грн, а найнижчу — на Чернігівщині — 5,80 грн.
In addition, the average price for first quality milk during the week went down. The kilo of this milk now costs 6.04 compared to 6.10 UAH fixed last week. The highest price paid for such milk was in Ternopil region — 6.50 UAH, and the lowest — in Chernihiv region — 5,80 UAH.
At the same time, retail prices for dairy products, according to the Ministry of agrarian policy of Ukraine data, began to decline. A kilo of milk for the last week fell down by 0.1% to 11.21 UAH. Sour cream now costs 31.17 UAH/kg (-0.1%). Butter didn’t change its price — 78.38 UAH/kg.
