Milk production in Ukraine during January – May 2010
According to the National Committee of Statistics, milk production in Ukraine during January-May 2010 totalled 4,245.2 th. tons, down 2.9 per cent from January-May 2009.
1 June 2010, the number of milking cows in corporate and individual sectors was 2,771,700 head - 115,100 head (or 3.3%) less from 1 June 2009.
