According to the Ministry of Agricultural Policy and Food of Ukraine data, on March 13, 2012 prices for youngstock of higher fatness were 17005 UAH/t, which is 19% more than last year. Wholesale prices for beef of the first category were 32.14 UAH/kg, while retail prices fell by 1UAH to 45.45 UAH/kg.

Purchase prices for milk slowly fall down, but retail prices remain constant. Prices for the first class milk were 3,538 UAH/t. Wholesale prices amounted to 5.82 UAH/kg, retail prices were 7.11 UAH/kg.
