Milk and profit: how to make dairy cattle breeding profitable? Experts from Ltd. «Ostriykivske» will share their own secrets of success to the Ukrainian farmers during the technical visit to the farm, which will be held on March, 5 in the framework of the VIII International Dairy Congress.

Ltd. «Ostriikivske» was established in January, 2012. Now the farm has about 600 (+71 to last year) dairy cows with average annual milk yield of 8000 kg per cow. The complex is equipped with the latest machine for milking «Turnabout» (AutoRotor Magnum 40 GEA Farm Technologies/WestfaliaSurge), where over 100 cows can «ride» during one hour (a circle of «Turnabout» contains 32 milking places).

The main activity of the company is raising cattle, pigs and dairy production. The Company is a reproducer of Ukrainian black and white dairy cattle.

VIII International Dairy Congress will work within three days — from 3^rd till 5^th of March — in the exhibition center «KyivExpoPlaza», Saliutna 2-B st.

During two days the work will be coordinated in four parallel sections: «Analytics of Dairy Business», «Management and Finance», «Veterinary», «Technology of Dairy Production» and on the third day the program offers to visit two largest dairy farms in Kiev region: Ltd.«Ostriikivske» and OJSC «Terezyne».
