January 20, 2012, prices for young cattle of higher fatness with subsidies fell slightly and averaged 16,622 UAH/t. Compared with the previous month price increased by 2% and compared with the previous year by 24%.

Wholesale prices for category meat stood at 31.74 UAH/kg, while retail prices accounted for 46.16 UAH/kg.

Purchase price for milk were 3,771 UAH/t. Wholesale prices were 5.81 UAH/kg, retail — 7.20 UAH/kg.
