Until the end of the current year the domestic agricultural sector will continue increasing the indices of production, in particular the Ministry of Agrarian Policy forecasted the growth of agricultural products output by 9.3% compared with last year, announced Nikolai Prysiazhniuk, Minister of Agrarian Policy and Food of Ukraine, on October 29.

According to him, one of the largest harvests of grain crops in the country — 60 mln tonnes, and the positive trend in all spheres of animal husbandry, will support such growth of agricultural production.

N.Prysiazhniuk also added that due to a number of state programs in Ukraine, the authorities managed to revive motivation among agrarians to deal with animal husbandry business. Besides, grain producers are increasingly interested in usage of modern technologies, therefore in the current year the average yield in Ukraine increased by 42%.
