In 2013 the State will allocate UAH 650 million to develop animal industry
Animal industry will remain the prior to be supported by the State next year. Thus, it is provided by the State Budget the mechanism of animal products producers support and the initiated earlier support programmes with UAH 650 million. This was announced by Mykola Prysyazhnyuk, the Minister of the Agrarian Policy and Food of Ukraine.
«Ukrainian animal industry has been renewed and it is unquestioning. In confirmation of this it is a positive increase tendency of cattle by 10%, pigs by 8% and poultry by 20%. The milk production is also increasing. The peasants have realized that it is profitable to be engaged into animal industry and furthermore the State helps. It should be mentioned that the State created support programmes have given an impetus to renew animal industry. That is why such programmes will remain next year», Mykola Prysyazhnyuk said.
The Minister has informed that these programmes are provided with UAH 650 million from the special fund in 2013. Mykola Prysyazhnyuk has emphasized that due to these programmes the peasants have received a real support for the first time. He has also discussed 2013 support programmes.
It will be provide the mechanism of animal industry production support in 2013. In particular, it is planned to allocate money for young cattle keep, special animal complexes stimulation by means of partial compensation of their and bought animals costs. The State will continue to pay compensations for milk machines and grown for butchering animals", Mykola Prysyazhnyuk informed.
Besides, according to the Minister it is provided by the budget the compensations for sheep keep which will be an impetus to domestic sheep breeding industry development.
