Global dairy trade steady in latest auction

 

The latest Global Dairy Trade (GDT) auction took place on Tuesday, rising 0.6%. 

The GDT Price Index rose by 0.6% on Tuesday. Skimmed Milk Powder rose by 7.9%, while Whole Milk Powder fell by 2.9%. Cheddar saw the largest increase, up 14.5%. Meanwhile, the butter index rose 3.3%, reflecting the rally in butter markets.

All traded dairy commodities sold for an average price of $3,313/t, holding the same price as the last auction on 16 May.
