Farm of the Dream for Ukrainian farmers

 

In the framework of the VIII International Dairy Congress Ukrainian farmers can get the information on the creation of a modern farm due to American technology and the effective management of it. Lloyd W. Holterman will tell his own secrets of success and share his experience.

Lloyd W. Holtermanis one of the owners ofthe Ltd. “Rosy-Lane Holsteins”, which is one of the biggest and most successful farm in the USA.

Now he, with his wife, Daphne are the owner of Rosy-Lane Holsteins LLC in the 4th generation. They raise their own heifers and operate a trucking subsidiary to ship their milk. And it’s a lot of milk, too-more than 8,000 gallons a day. The operation consists of 900 cows. The couple also has been active in international dairy development, hosting a stream of international visitors on their farm.

Ltd. “Rosy-Lane Holsteins” is the example of successful family business, which develops stably due to well-coordinated work, as the farm has its own 1700 acres of corn and hay.

He holds a B.S. in Dairy Science at the University of Wisconsin-Madison, graduating in 1980. Lloyd is also a graduate of the University of Wisconsin Agribusiness Executive Management program, Leadership Watertown program, and The Executive Program for Ag Producers at Texas A&M University.
