Belarus to resume meat, milk deliveries to Ukraine in April
The question of deliveries of Belarusian meat and dairy products to Ukraine will be resolved before the end of April.
Deputy Prime Minister of Belarus Mikhail Rusy said this on Thursday, BelTA reported.
«I think everything will be solved by the end of the month,» he said, answering the question when the resumption of deliveries of Belarusian meat and dairy products in Ukraine is possible.
As reported, Ukraine’s veterinary service suspended from March 1, 2012 imports of meat and dairy products made in Belarus. Experts of the service visited Belarus in March to get ensured of the quality and safety of dairy and meat products made in its territory. A working group conducted an audit of the State Veterinary Service of Belarus, and also inspected a number of dairy industry enterprises. This week, the talks continued on the territory of Ukraine, and the sides signed a protocol that provides for concrete steps to resolve the issue of resumption of deliveries of Belarusian meat and dairy products in Ukraine.
