The special regime of VAT won’t be returned to farmers

In Ukraine special regime of VAT will not be returned to farmers.

This was announced by the Chairman of the parliamentary Committee on taxation and customs policy Nina Yuzhanina.

«Special regime is cancelled and we can't go back to this rule— it is clear. Because this is the decision we and the government made in accordance with the requirements of the IMF. But in the draft budget for 2017 subsidies for farmers of certain areas in the amount of 5.5 billion UAH are already provided «, — said Nina Yuzhanina.

According to her, the state support will be provided to farmers who are engaged in cattle breeding, gardening, vegetable growing, etc.

We remind that The Supreme Arbitration Court has developed a new bill on state support of farmers, which allows them to receive more state support funds, compared with special regime of VAT that will bypass the requirement of the IMF on the transfer of farmers to the common system of taxation and will not allow corruption schemes.
