The EBRD has completed investment in Agri Europe in Ukraine and Serbia

 

The European Bank for reconstruction and development (EBRD) has completed the investment into capital stock of Agri Europe, the leading agro-industrial group registered in Cyprus that work mainly in Serbia and Ukraine.

«Our cooperation with the top management of the company Agri Europe has led to significant improvement of the management structure. Within many years the company has become the leading and most active player in various industries. In the future we will remain in close contact and consider individual investment proposals that meet the objectives of the EBRD in relation to the successful cooperation in new projects», — said the head of agribusiness of South-Eastern and Central Europe of EBRD Milyana Zdrale.

According to Chairman of the Board of Directors of Agri Europe Miodrag Kostich, the EBRD has supported the development of the company for 10 years.

«Cooperation began with the credits and progressed to the equity investment, which raised our company to a completely new level. Working together, we have made significant progress in various areas of business and corporate management, providing a solid foundation for future long-term growth. We can say that the first phase of cooperation is now finished and we are ready more than ever to move forward to the next stage with some of the larger and more complex projects," he said.
