In 2010, on "Terezino" Dairy Farm (Kiev region) milk production per forage cow exceeded 7,500 kg. The milk from Terezino contains high levels of fat and protein, and it is of high quality.

"Only our milk goes to the production of ice cream and other products for McDonalds chain; feta cheese and granular cheese are made only from our milk. Each time the milk is delivered for processing, its fat content is more than 4% and protein content is at least 3,3%. Our goal is not record yields, but high-quality forage supply and high-quality raw milk", Nadia Kudlai, one of the top managers of the farm,said.

In 2010,  the target number of dairy cows - 1000 head - was almost achieved. Now the owners are thinking of constructing another complex. They do have the experience of construction as well as of milk production.

In regard to the development of dairy industry in Ukraine Nadia Kudlai said: "To my mind, the rules should be the same for everyone: for those who keep 10 thousand cows, and for those who keep only one cow. You can develop even with 5 cows on the farm, but then it should be a cooperative. The cooperative will control production and it will be responsible for milk quality. If the owner does not carry any responsibility for the quality of milk produced, he does not pay taxes and makes living on the stolen feedstuff - it's not right. In this case we have cows but do not have high-quality milk."
