The price of raw milk has reached its peak

 

At the beginning of November 2023, raw milk in Ukraine rose in price by 0.68 UAH on average. Purchase prices are rising under the influence of a shortage of raw milk in the domestic market, an increase in the cost of production and active demand for dairy products from the population, — reports the analyst of the Association of Milk Producers, Georgy Kukhaleishvili.

The average purchase price of Extra Grade milk at the beginning of November amounted to 13.78 UAH/kg without VAT, which is 0.84 UAH higher than at the beginning of October. The range of prices for this grade in farms varies from 13.10 to 14.25 UAH/kg without VAT. The lower limit of the price range increased by 1.80 UAH, and the upper limit increased by 0.85 UAH for the last month.

Higher Grade on average costs 13.78 UAH/kg without VAT. Over the last month, the price of this grade has increased by 0.84 UAH. Prices for Higher Grade milk range from 13.10 to 14.25 UAH/kg without VAT. The lower limit of the price range increased by 3.10 UAH, and the upper limit increased by 1.75 UAH.

The average price of Grade I milk amounted to 12.75 UAH/kg without VAT and increased by 0.36 UAH compared to the results of previous monitoring. The minimum price in farms was 12.50 UAH/kg, which is 1.20 UAH higher than a month ago. The maximum price for Grade I was 13.00 UAH/kg, which is 0.80 UAH more compared to previous monitoring.

Accordingly, the weighted average price of the three grades amounted to 13.44 UAH/kg without VAT and increased by 0.68 UAH.
