Milk prices monitoring. January
Reductions of export prices and milk powder balances in January this year had an impact on purchase milk prices decrease.
This was reported by analyst of Association of Milk Producers of Ukraine (AVM) Yana Muzychenko.
The average price for Extra Grade milk in January amounted to 9.96 UAH/kg, including VAT, which is 0,17 UAH below the price in December. The largest decline occurred at the end of the month. 10 UAH/kg had only large volume producers. The most common offer at the end of the month was the price of 9.80 UAH/kg.
In general, the price for milk from industrial producers ranges from 9.10 to 10.02 UAH/kg, depending on the quality and volume.
