Raw milk prices are demonstrating their seasonal character and upward trend.
Seasonal price increase is additionally supported by more tangible shortage of raw milk as compared to previous year.
During the month, the average price increased by 27 kopecks — to 10.04 UAH/kg.
Traditionally, the price for Grade Extra was growing most actively and till the end of the month added 34 kopecks — to 10.64 UAH/kg. Higher Grade was 26 kopecks up — 10.08 UAH/kg and Grade I was 20 kopecks up —9.39 UAH/kg. Prices for medium and large batches of Extra Grade milk, by regions, are currently almost the same and range from 10.60 to 10.80 UAH/kg.
Raw milk prices will further continue to grow within the seasonal trend.
