Grain exports exceed 21.3 million tons
Since the beginning of the current marketing year, as of January 1, 2018, Ukraine has exported more than 21.36 million tons of grain crops, in particular 11.2 million tons of wheat (including 6.2 million tons of food wheat, 5 million tons of fodderwheat),
Such data is provided by the Department of phytosanitary safety, seed control and seedlings of the State Service of Ukraine for Food Safety and Consumer Protection.
In the same period of the previous marketing year, there were exported 23.8 million tons of grain, including almost 12 million tons of wheat (including food wheat — 7 million tons and fodder wheat 4.9 million tons), barley more than 4.3 million tons, maize — 7.3 million tons).
Also, in the current marketing year, there were exported almost 3.3 million tons of oilseeds, including: rape — 2 million tons, soybeans — more than 1.3 million tons. As of the same date of the last year, oil exports amounted to almost 2.3 million tons (including 0.88 million tons of rape and 1.4 million tons of soybeans).
