The Rosselkhoznadzor has postponed the ban of Belarusian milk on March 6
The Rosselkhoznadzor made a decision to postpone the ban on the supply of dairy products from Belarus on March 6, 6 p. m., reported in the Service. The batches received after the date will be returned to the Republic of Belarus. Earlier, the ban was planned to be introduced since February 26.
The restriction will affect pasteurized, sterilized and ultra-pasteurized milk and cream in bulk; milk and cream powder, concentrated, canned and condensed milk and cream; milk whey in bulk, concentrated, dry milk whey; concentrated whey and milk protein.
The decision to postpone, the source informed the DairyNews, was the result of today's talks between the Rosselkhoznadzor and the Ministry of agriculture and food of the Republic of Belarus.
As previously stated by the Rosselkhoznadzor, due to repeated quality problems the supply of Belarusian products, in which the Service often detected non-compliance with veterinary and sanitary standards, to the Russian Federation has been stopped since February 26.
The Service also called a number of companies the products of which have repeatedly shown violations of the rules.
In particular, according to the Rosselkhoznadzor, the products under the brand name «Babushkina Krynka» of the management company of the holding «Mogilev dairy company «Babushkina Krynka» — there were recorded 12 cases of detection of banned and harmful substances, including:
- in milk powder — ofloxacin, norfloxacin, sulfamethazine, lincomycin, erythromycin;
- in whey powder — ofloxacin (2 cases), trimethoprim, sulfamethazine, tylosin;
- in butter — 2 cases (microbiological indicators QMAFAnM and E. coli group bacteria).
In the products of the production unitary enterprise «Kalinkovichi dairy plant» Svetlogorsk branch there were recorded 2 cases of detection of non-compliance for microbiological indicators (E. coli group bacteria) in milk powder.
In the products of JSC «Milkavita» there were recorded 3 cases of detection of falsification indicators including:
- 1— in drinking milk (non-compliance with a mass fraction of fat);
- 2— in drinking cream (presence of milk powder).
In products of JSC «Moloko» there were recorded 5 cases of detection:
- in liquid milk whey — tylosin;
- in concentrated milk in tanks — sulfamethazine;
- in cream — chlortetracycline;
- in concentrated whey in tanks — albendazole sulfone;
- in cottage cheese — E. coli group bacteria.
The detection of sulfamethoxazole in milk powder was recorded in the product of «Oktyabrsky plant of skimmed milk powder».
In products of the unitary production enterprise «Polotskiy dairy plant» there were registered 4 cases of detection, including:
- 3 — in concentrated milk (sulfamethazine — 2 cases, ciprofloxacin);
- 1 — in drinking milk (presence of milk powder).
In products of LLC «Primemilk» — 2 cases of detection of E. coli group bacteria in whey powder.
In products of JSC «Slutskiy cheese-making plant» Kletsky branch — 2 cases of detection of tetracycline in milk powder.
In products of JSC «Orshanskiy dairy factory, production workshop Sennenskiy» — detection of sulfamethazine in condensed skimmed milk.
