Prime Minister Groysman opposes to free farmland market in Ukraine
The Prime Minister of Ukraine Vladimir Groysman declared that the Ukrainian citizens should be allowed to sell farmland to one another in a fixed amount. At the same time, the Head of the Government opposes to selling farmland to big agribusiness.
«I am strongly against the opening of the farmland market for everyone and for all parties. This is my position as a citizen of Ukraine. This is a matter of principle for me. I think that it is necessary to allow Ukrainians to sell farmland in limited quantities and for appropriate professional use,» says Vladimir Groysman.
MPs of Ukraine demand lifting of the moratorium on farmland sale again. They made a submission to the Constitutional Court on behalf of 69 MPs.
